Can I return an item in BC if I change my mind?

In BC, stores are not legally required to give you a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind about a purchase. Instead, the store’s own return or exchange policy applies, and each business can set different rules. Many stores will offer store credit or exchanges as a courtesy, but they are not required to by law.
